Founded in 2009 by a group of chemistry graduate students, Queen’s Graduate Chemistry Society is a representative organization of all graduate students within the Department of Chemistry at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
Queen's Graduate Chemistry Society aims to enhance the quality of the Queen’s chemistry graduate student education and experience. The Society organizes and implements educational, social, and recreational activities for chemistry graduate students. These events aim to build community across the Department of Chemistry, improve the quality of chemistry graduate student life and education, and facilitate the recruitment and welcoming of new graduate students.
Queen's Graduate Chemistry Society is also a Student Chapter of the Chemical Institute of Canada.
